Sparky liked to play out of her cage a lot. Her favorite food was peanuts. She liked to sit on my shoulder or run around on the bed. She recognised my voice and almost always came when I called. I especially liked her because she pooped on me much less often then the other gerbils. ![]() For her second birthday I had a mini party with some of my friends. We ate candy and Sparky chewed up streamers. Sparky lived normally without Midnight. She was healthy. On the night of October 17, 2003, I noticed she was sick. She was sitting in the corner with her eyes closed and her breath was a puff-puff-puff. She ate some sunflower seeds when I put them right under her nose. By the night of Sunday October 18, she was dead. The next day after school me and my mom buried her. Help prevent gerbil deaths by pine shavings and please, pass this message onto all of your friends and post it on your website if you have one: DO NOT USE PINE OR CEDAR SHAVINGS!!! I want to get another gerbil or two. I likes polar fox's and siamese's or Burmese's. I might get two females or a female and a male. If you know any gerbil breeders on Long Island or New York, email me! ![]() This is me with Sparky last summer before I got contacts. It's a little blurry because It was taken by a web camera. ![]() This is me when I first started the site with Sparky. Do you recognise what's on the computer screen? ![]() This is me and Sparky. I think it was taken last summer. Also before I got contacts. Sparky is confused. *note: If the pictures do not come up, right click on them and choose view image.
